Who are we?

Well, this is us, Shona, and Mike (we're the very tired ones) and our twins Mhairi and Archie.  I'm a normal mum who wanted to do something different, something that will help other women from going through some of the stresses and strains that I did. 

I had hundreds of questions during my own pregnancy. I got frustrated by conflicting & vague advice in books. I just wanted to know should I do A or B but there were so many opinions it was hard to tell sometimes.

In the end, I found the best advice came from my friends who were already mums. Once I had my babies, I was also struck how much knowledge was just evaporating as mums didn’t pass on what they had found out to mums coming along behind them.

That meant that new mums struggled through the same issues, without picking up some tips from other mums. You may have had that same thought when someone said “oh why don’t you try…” to a problem you’ve been struggling with for a while.

Frustrating, isn’t it? Well, NO MORE. I just thought - there has to be a simple way to capture all this experience and advice! So that’s what I’m setting up – a quick survey on any question or problem you have and we’ll get some specific advice.

Our Chief Buyer is Pumpkin. He’s always on the phone doing a deal. Sometimes it’s to negotiate extra milk and Cheerios and other times it’s getting a fantastic brand involved & signed up for our community members.

Head of Product Testing is MooMoo but she often gives the less savoury jobs to Pumpkin. She’s the boss so there’s no messing with her!
