Chelsea is 3
weeks away from her due date and plans to bottle feed her baby but she is
unsure what equipment she will need when the baby arrives.
“I recently changed my mind about breast feeding my baby and have decided to formula feed. I’m really happy with my decision and know it’s the right one for me but the only problem is, I am not prepared at all! I’m due in 3 weeks and have yet to get bottles or formula but I know I need to be stocked up when the baby arrives.
I went to the shops the other day to get some things but there were so many different formulas and products to choose from that I got really confused. It’s all too overwhelming and I ended up bursting into tears and running out of the shop. Does it matter which type of bottle I buy or are they all basically the same? I have to admit I’m completely clueless about bottle feeding – is there a technique to it or is it pretty straightforward?
I would really love it if some other mums who have formula fed could pass on any recommendations. What formula is best? Do I need sterilising equipment or other fancy bits and pieces, and what about the bottles? There seems to be a lot of very complicated anti colic bottles out there –are they really necessary or can I just use normal ones from the supermarket? How many will I need?”

feed your baby? If so, please tell us
